As a Test Engineer at SNC, you will be using your skills and expertise to simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure the verification and validation of all product requirements. You will also be involved with the execution of the tests using top industry tools. As a cross functional engineer, you'll test system and component level new products and develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.As Test Engineer II at SNC, you would be engaged in supporting production hardware testing. This role would leverage your RF Hardware experience as well as providing Test Engineering support to new and existing projects. Your involvement would vary by project and their Test Engineering support needs. One project may only need RF System level debugging support for their existing software, while another may need Test Engineering development from the ground up involving Test Hardware Development and automated Test Development. Another role with this position may be to support Hardware Integration and Depot support activities.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Support or assist in development of RF Test procedures for production test fixtures

Provide Depot level support for RF Systems and LRU's (Line Replaceable Units) Provide System Hardware Integration and Installations at customer sites

Must-haves:

Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of experience

Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration

Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities

Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration

Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Hardware Verification and Repair activities

Basic Linux user skills

Troubleshooting experience using schematics, measurement tools such as oscilloscope, and multimeters

Radio Frequency troubleshooting experience utilizing signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzersand power meters

Electronic and electrical repair experience specifically Mil circular connector assembly

Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Security Clearance

Preferred:

Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to include manual and automated testing

Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance to system requirements

Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experienced in generation and disposition of product non-conformances

Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e. FAA, NASA, DoD)

Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Python Scripting familiarity

Linux Operating System familiarity

Microsoft Office Tools: Visio, Word, Excel, Power Point

Software Source Control: GIT, BitBucket, SVN
