The position is responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of the short-term and automatic traffic recorder data in accordance with FHWA regulations. Incumbents maintain the TIS database and Jackalope site files with information provided by Field Techs, new contract information and similar requests; coordinate with all Traffic Information Division sections to identify sensor needs; and review plan sets and coordinate with Design Division regarding sensor placement on new contracts/projects.
