Description Connect with Casey Allard on LinkedIn to explore furtherWe are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to take the helm of our financial operations in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This role involves managing all accounting activities across our locations, working closely with the Director of Operations and the Owner. The successful candidate will implement financial policies and procedures, prepare and analyze financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and optimize financial resources Provide strategic financial planning and guidance to senior management Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Collaborate with internal teams to support decision-making and achieve financial objectives Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions, Financial Statement, Budget Processes, and Budgeting - Forecasting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply and develop your skills in a dynamic work environment.Requirements Must possess at least 5 years of experience in an accounting manager/supervisor role Demonstrable proficiency in accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Knowledge and experience in auditing practices Familiarity with billing functions and standard practices Competence in preparing and interpreting financial statements Experience in budget processes and budgeting - forecasting Proficiency in using QuickBooks software Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and leadership skills Must be detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
