Accounts Payable ManagerBased at Macquarie Park, short walk from Metro Station + WFH options7 additional leave days per year + Not For Profit benefits + Fitness PassportBe part of a large, busy and supportive Finance TeamLeading Aged Care provider, growth Industry!Catholic Healthcare has a new opportunity for a driven and results orientated Accounts Payable Manager with the ability to lead a busy and dedicated team of 9 Accounts Payable Administrators.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading and managing the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships and optimising payment processes.Your extensive leadership skills together your experience managing workflow within a high volume accounts payable environment, will aid your success in this integral position. Previous experience in Aged Care will be highly regardedKey responsibilities will include:Overseeing the accurate and timely processing and payment of invoicesEnsuring compliance and improvements to internal procedures to mitigate financial risks and improve performanceProviding leadership, coaching and development to the Accounts Payable teamEnsuring invoices are appropriately coded, approved, and processed in a timely mannerManaging payment schedules and prioritise payments based on due dates, cash flow requirements, and vendor relationships.Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving payment discrepancies, and negotiating favourable payment terms and conditions.Collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline vendor onboarding processesThe ideal applicant will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, in addition to;Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacityStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, regulatory complianceProficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems; Basware experience preferredEffective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detailProactive mindset, with a continuous improvement orientation and the ability to adapt to changing business needsAbility to provide evidence of Covid immunisationsCatholic Healthcare is a leading not-for-profit provider of residential aged care, home and community services and retirement living across NSW and SE QLD.
