Job Description

The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will function as an Associate liaison with management on human resources issues impacting the performance of the manufacturing operation and all support functions. Provide effective Associate service through timely, professional, accurate responses to Associate questions and concerns. Facilitate plant activities and initiatives through effective administrative support and coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate plant-wide and Associate communications
  • Conduct and coordinate training programs
  • Develop and implement assessment scorecards, training matrixes and evaluations to track the success of training programs
  • Participate in community activities and build relationships within the community to continually promote Moen as an employer of choice
  • Develop and coordinate various Associate relations involvement initiatives and plant activities
  • Coordinate temporary and hourly hiring
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs to facilitate consistency and equity
  • Support the administration of hourly compensation program to ensure compliance and equity
  • Compile and prepare special reports requiring considerable trust and accuracy
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with all levels of Associates
  • Develop and maintain databases to ensure timely, accurate data tracking
  • Participate in environment, safety, health, and security programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment
  • In conjunction with Corporate Benefits, support Benefit Enrollment events
  • Possess broad knowledge of the organization’s operations and policies
  • Facilitate legal and regulatory compliance to all internal and external reporting entities by preparing and maintaining required reports and databases, handling unemployment claims, and conducting required investigations

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience or an Associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a business environment is required. Experience in an administrative or support role in Human Resources is preferred. Experience within a manufacturing environment is also preferred.
  • Must possess a business orientation and excellent interactive skills to function as a business partner and interface with associates
  • Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities working in a fast paced environment dealing with fluctuating priorities and minimum supervision
  • Group facilitation and presentation skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must have the flexibility to work extended hours to support plant events and activities on off-shifts as needed
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing and change management preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word processing software, Excel spreadsheet software, and PowerPoint software
  • Experience with Kronos attendance systems, WorkDay HRMS; and Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
