Apply now for this permanent Programmer Analyst position.How you will make an impact- Examines user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Writes functional requirements and assesses cost, feasibility and utility. Makes recommendations about how, when or whether to make the changes- Build and evaluate programming changes prior to implementation for each systems development phase. Record test cases and expected outcomes. Ensure that requirements are met. May create simple tests or a defined subset of a larger system test. May suggest acceptance/rejection in cases where not all requirements are met- Builds and maintains dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst- Helps create communication content for certain system changes being implemented in production- Provides continuing support for end users and other partner groups through continuing training and assistance for a specific application, system or process- Provides guidance for internal clients on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting problems with programming. Consultation can include troubleshooting and/or education- Analyzes processing procedures. Develops recommendations for improvements- Reviews and documents code problems, working with other programmers to correct them Requirements - Sound written and verbal communication skills- Essential project management skills, including project planning and tracking principles; project risk and issues identification, assessment, tracking, and mitigation- Programming language knowledge required- 5+ years experience as a project leader for the business portion of developmental applications or major systems improvements- Comprehension of PC and mainframe hardware/software- Entity Framework experience- Proven knowledge of Gathering Requirements- Well-founded grasp of C Sharp Programming (C#)- T-SQL experience preferred- Command of Visual Studio- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL- Comprehensive knowledge of ASP.NET Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
