Job DescriptionThe Straight Truck/Warehouse Team Member safely unloads products and renders exceptional customer service to Domino’s Pizza store locations. All team members are expected to follow all safety rules, policies and procedures and work in a safe manner at all times.SCHEDULE: Afternoon/evening shift 2pm-midnight Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday when driving7:00am-3:30pm when working in the warehousePAY: $24.50/hrRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES           (65%)   Deliver and Unload ProductSafely deliver and pick up product - shunting and doing switches with remote driversAssist with store deliveries - verifying dough, store cooler and trailer temperatures at each stop for accuracy of deliveryPick up damaged or unsold products; empty tray containers and deliver to Supply Chain CenterSafely reposition and secure remaining product/tray containers in trailer after each deliveryOccasionally collect non-cash COD’s from customersListen to and timely resolve customer service complaints(25%)   Complete Necessary PaperworkResponsible for verifying and securing load prior to dispatchEnsure you have required safety equipment before dispatchPerform pre-trip and post-trip safety vehicle inspections at every stopVerify log of driving activitiesComply with federal and provincial log regulationsAccountable for the vehicle and product(10%)   Work in WarehouseReceives incoming product shipments and compares vendor inventory sheet or distribution purchase order to product received for accuracy and inventory controlStamps product casing with delivery receipt dateAlerts Warehouse Team Leader to any discrepancies in product amounts receivedOpens bales, crates and other containers to unload productUses "First In, First Out" (FIFO) procedure to ensure proper rotation of existing stockRemoves trays and returns product from truckThoroughly cleans cargo area of truck to ensure sanitary storage area for product during transportPre-cools cargo area of truck to company specifications prior to loading productReviews load worksheets and verifies accuracy of assembled loadsAssists drivers where needed with pre-departure checksLoads truck according to company specifications for maximum delivery accuracySecures load within cargo area of truck through the use of load bars or strapsMaintains safe work area through general housekeeping and performs sanitation functions as required
