To take ownership and manage all things clinical policies! In this position you will develop clinical policies and implement clinical projects to support the achievement of quality care and quality standards across the business streams of Catholic Healthcare.Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Compliance, with no direct reports, you will develop and maintain for purpose policies that align with legislative requirements, review and maintain existing policies, deliver clinical projects and initiatives and build strong trusted relationships with your key stakeholders.Your exceptional communications and interpersonal skills, together with your influencing and well develop policy writing skills, will assist you to establish and lead cross-functional collaboration with subject matter experts and employees to improve the quality of clinical policies and evaluation outputs.Your responsibilities will also include the following; Developing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of clinical policies, procedures, and protocolsDevelop and implement ways to ensure the work is informed by and reflects the views, experience, and expertise of key stakeholders.Continuous improvement by review of use and effectiveness of policies, procedures and protocols through clinical audits and performance reviewsEnsuring clinical policies, procedures and protocols are effectively communicated to employeesProviding information, coaching, and training (as necessary)Engaging with stakeholders when reviewing performance of clinical safety and quality measuresConceptualise and present data and information in interesting ways to engage externally and internally with both clinical and non-clinical audiencesPrepare diverse range of high-quality briefs, submissions, proposals, reports, and other docsEnsure Clinical policies, procedures, and protocols are in place, well understood by employees, and are being followed leading to improved clinical practice.Managing allocated projects or project activities, prepare and submit progress reportsEnsuring project objectives are met by producing detailed projectThe ideal applicant;Completion of relevant tertiary qualifications in Healthcare, Nursing, or similarApprox 5 years’ (preferable) previous experience working within the clinical field.Strong understanding of legislations related to Aged Care, NDIS, Retirement VillagesHighly effective and articulate writing skills with an ability to confer comprehension of complex clinical informationDemonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement action plansChange management skills with proven experience leading and influencing change in a complex environmentStrong computer literacy (MS Office)Ability to provide evidence of Covid immunisationsCatholic Healthcare is a leading not-for-profit provider of residential aged care, home and community services and retirement living across NSW and SE QLD.
