Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager for this newly created role, sitting in our National Commercial Team for the Resources and Industrial division. This is a project focused role offering a chance to spearhead your career by leading a vital project for this group. Supported by theNational Commercial Manager you have the flexibility of being based at one of several Sydney, Melbourne or QLD sites.

The role of Commercial Manageris to:

  • Pilot a newly designedsystemliaising with multiple business units across the country to get it ready for implementation.
  • Review multiple existing contracts,identifying key performance indicators and profit levers.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally to drive this project to success.
  • Review and analyse contract results to enable cost modelling across multiple industries and business units.
  • Work with the internal project team, I.T to and external partiesto build a structured and successful Management Operating systemto roll out nationally over the next 12 months.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and the abilty to influence change throughconversation.
  • Strong analytical background understanding data and driving outcomes from data.
  • An understanding of a Logistics orSupply Chain Operationalenvironment.
  • Tiertiary qualification in Business with a CPA Qualificationpreferred.
  • Transport exposure desirable not essential.
