Your role as Commercial Planning Chapter Member (Merchandise Planner) is to balance what our customers need with how our business delivers through insightful commercial planning and pricing across our product ranges.With strong financial acumen, assortment building skills and a real commercial mindset, you'll work collaboratively to will drive optimisation and manage the product lifecycle process, while consistently on top of trends and performance.Your key responsibilities will include:Working with the Buyers on range assortment plans, controlling markdowns and category spendSetting budgets and reviewing forward plansAnalysing product performance trends and making recommendations for improvementReporting and planning - providing effective financial, forecasting and stock flow management reportspromotional activityManaging stock-flow and monitoring aged stockDemand planning forecasting
