S & S Concrete Floors seeks a Concrete Division Manager to join their leadership team in New Ipswich, New Hampshire.

This is a new position in the company and one that will oversee all day-today operations of our Concrete Division. The ideal candidate understands concrete and what it takes to operate efficiently. WHAT WE OFFER.

$85,000 - $120,000 annual salary based on your experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

Work with current team members to improve and grow operations for long-term sustainable growth, creating streamlined systems.

Oversee day-to-day concrete operations including floor assessments/repairs, slab tolerance and profile testing, recommend repairs/upgrades, concrete grinding/polishing, joint filler and sealants, joint stabilization with foam or JS devices, floor cleaning/scrubbing, facility maintenance plans, liquid densifiers and sealing, full removal and replacement of concrete as needed, upfit projects, and demolition saw cutting/coring.

Take phone calls, schedule site visits, coordinate with estimating for pricing and proposals, and eventually learn to handle pricing and proposals independently.

Coordinate and schedule projects including manpower, materials, and equipment; overseeing all jobsite activities to ensure safe and efficient completion.

Provide billing to the main office and close-out reports as required.

Travel nationwide as needed with majority of current work in New England and surrounding states.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

5 years’ concrete, building, construction, manufacturing or related experience preferred.

Supervisory and/or management experience in concrete, building, construction, or manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of concrete workflow practices required.

Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Understanding of planning/scheduling and material inventory management preferred.

Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to lead staff and serve as a mentor in order to achieve and maintain a productive work group.

Skills in analyzing production needs, identifying and resolving process, systems and/or mechanical failures, developing short and long-term schedules, and following through with performance requirements.

Fluent in English required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Willingness to travel, work nights, weekends, and be on call as needed typical of the concrete industry.
