Job Description

As the Contracts Manager sitting in theNational Commercial Team, you will directly report into the National Commercial Manager and be a part of a pivotal project team workingto build and implement an Operational Management System across the Resources & Industrials division. You have the flexibility of being based at one of several Sydney or Melbourne sites for this permanent role.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Support the Commercial Management team, providing process and discipline across the R&I Business Units.
  • Provide tacticaland operational insights on contract issues working with the Commercial Manager for each site to provide clarity and solution.
  • Support the NationalCommercial Manager and the wider project teamin contract evaluations.
  • Establish best practice in relation to contract management and deliver training to the business
  • Maximise return to thebusiness through effective review and analysis of existing contracts delivering insightful handover document to operations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Direct experience in a similar Contract Management role
  • A commercial or legal background and qualification would be highly regarded though not essential.
  • Exposure to resource, logistics or service-related oriented industry
  • Strong organisational and project planning skills – you take a structured approach to managing your workload and competing demands
