We are looking for a Cook who can be available to pick shifts on a permanent part-time basis.As a cook at Mackillop House Norwest, you will be preparing meals for our residents and managing an established team of catering assistants. This role includes overseeing effective meal service to our aged care residents, as well as providing best practice service in kitchen cleanliness, documentation and food preparation.To be successful in the role, you will have:Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential)Previous experience in managing a kitchen and kitchen staffPrevious experience in an Aged Care environment, highly desirableKnowledge of Aged Care catering policies & procedures and HACCP principlesDemonstrated Workplace Health and Safety knowledgeExperience with the Vulnerable person food safety actWillingness to provide Flu and Covid vaccination evidenceNDIS check or willing to obtain
