Overview: RiverWoods Durham is currently seeking a full time culinary server to join our fun, creative, and talented culinary services team while providing excellent customer service to our residents in our healthcare setting.   • Using designated standards, setup breakfast station, take orders using POS and prepare breakfast items for residents a la minute.
  • Set place setting with clean and sanitized flatware and glassware.
  • Break down and clean breakfast station and reset for lunch with deli preparation.
  • Present residents with lunch options and take orders using POS system.
  • Prepare assigned menu items in conjunction with central kitchen for lunch service and serve to residents.
  • Remove all dirty plates, flatware, glassware etc, from service, wash, sanitize and place in designated location.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of dining space is completed daily using the appropriate checklist.
  • Assist in maintaining proper stock levels of all items necessary for resident comfort and care
  • Ability to operate ovens, dishwasher, mixer, slicer and other general kitchen equipment to greatest advantage.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent of GED
  • 1 year of culinary experience in basic food preparation with hot and cold food items; server experience preferred
  • ServSafe Certification preferred

Ideal schedule for this position is 7am-3:30pm shift- Must be available weekends and Holidays.
