Dining Room Manager

Full Time

RiverWoods in Exeter is currently hiring for a Full Time Dining Room Manager. The successful candidate will help us continue to propel our dining services department forward in providing world class dining services through consistent execution of fine dining service basic practices. They will be present, provide feedback and training, set priorities, be consistent, delegate tasks and have a clear vision for the dining team.

CCRC healthcare managerial experience preferred. Current ServSafe manager certification required.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Dining Room Operations, some other key components of the position consist of but are not limited to:
  • Manage the dining department operations within the approved operating budget
  • Lead the process for hiring, orienting and training new employees
  • Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with all OSHA standards.
  • Implement and maintain an operating Standards of Practice (SOP) for food preparation, service and quality assurance.
  • Be present and engaged with residents during meal times, especially during dinner meal times to assure highest food quality and service execution.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Formal Management supervisor or management training
  • Minimum of two years of waited service experience in fine dining restaurants or continuing care communities
  • Two years of supervisory or management experience
  • Serve Safe Certification
