As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.The Blast Furnace is an integral part of our supply chain operations producing liquid iron for our Slabmaking department, which processes the iron into steel slabs for our customers both domestically and internationally.In this specialised leadership role, you will lead a multi-skilled team focusing on the delivery of Electrical Maintenance for the No.5 Blast Furnace department whilst championing a safety-first culture. In order to ensure operational productivity and asset preservation targets are achieved, you’ll provide technical support through the investigation on equipment issues, you will manage the team’s success through their performance and productivity to ensure our business plan objectives and targets are continually met – including overseeing operations of external contractors and teams.What Will You Do?Leading and supporting your team to deliver on equipment reliability targets and asset performance, you will:ensure safety standards are never compromised, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identifiedmaintain asset performance and collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance, capability, and costssupervise maintenance activities and strive for business improvements and manufacturing excellenceproject manage asset maintenance, improvement and new installation projects aligned to No.5 Blast Furnace objectivesbuild effective relationships to drive the continuous reliability of our No.5 Blast Furnace assetscoach, mentor and develop the team to enhance capabilities More About YouAs an enthusiastic and motivated leader, you will demonstrate a willingness to develop your team to achieve success.
