You will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client satisfaction.Mandatory Saturday and Sunday starting at 8:30 am Perform animal restraint using safe and low-stress techniques while maintaining composure in dynamic situationsConduct triage of incoming patients and assess their medical needs with attention to detailCollect, prepare, and analyze laboratory samples, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimensAssist with diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiographic and ultrasound positioning and image capturePrepare surgical sites and provide skilled assistance during surgical proceduresAdminister anesthesia and monitor patients throughout anesthetic procedures with precisionAdminister medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medical recordsProvide compassionate nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients with varying degrees of stabilityCommunicate treatment plans and medical updates to clients in a clear and empathetic mannerMaintain comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care protocols, and hospital operationsSupport the veterinary team in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate commitment to professional ethics, animal welfare, and continuous professional development
