Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe are seeking a Facilities and Services Manager to join our team at the Engineering faculty. You will lead the facilities team in managing the provision of functional spaces to all academic departments and administrative functions in the faculty. You will be the primary liaison to property services to ensure the adequate provision of maintenance, cleaning, access control, and minor capital works projects. You will also ensure that health and safety, containment, sustainability, and environmental requirements are met.Key responsibilities include:Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to the to the Facilities team.Responsible for the implementation of operational plans for Facilities and ServicesCo-ordinate and manage Minor Capital Works projects for the faculty.Liaise with Property Services for Space PlanningDevelop and maintain relationships with other Facilities and Services Managers and departments throughout the University.Manage and monitor service delivery of all Facilities and Services activities.This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role, permanent.
