Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThe Property Services team provides a leading-edge planning and development consultancy that contributes to the University of Auckland's success by providing high-quality physical environments. We build and service some of the country's largest and most complex buildings and construction projects.The opportunity has arisen to appoint a new Facilities Manager – Security Services to manage a large team helping to deliver strategic and resilient campus security services to the University with specific responsibilities for organising and managing all aspects of security and incident management. These services help to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors, and protect University buildings, physical assets and precincts.Some key responsibilities include:Ensure Security Operations are managed in an efficient and financially responsible manner within budgetary guidelines.Develop and maintain policies and procedures relevant to the services provided, and ensure staff monitor and report on key performance indicators.Develop and maintain a range of comprehensive compliance reports to ensure the institution adheres to legislation, security regulations, as well as internal policies.Plan, develop and implement response plans and security programmes such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security and Incident Investigation services.Manage the facilities associated with emergency incident management and to provide efficient and effective services to the University community.This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role on a permanent contract.
