This role supports the Finance Business Manager in our Issuing Product Domain by providing quality financial advice, modelling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and other financial functions to support our Product teams.The responsibilities in this role include: 

   

Monthly Reporting: Manage the monthly financial activities end to end for an allocated Product Domain Domain, covering month, YTD and performance reportingPrepare and present monthly performance dashboards, highlighting Product and Client key metrics, trends, and variances. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to deliver on the business plan.Prepare half year and full year commentary to financial statements for Product stakeholdersDecision Support: Partner the relevant Product Domain leadership team and stakeholders with financial decision-making by providing relevant data, analysis, and recommendations.Build and maintain Product focused financial models to support product scenario and sensitivity analysis, vendor, and other ad-hoc financial analytical activities as required.Support the Domain andsBusiness Unit Finance Pricing Managera with key transactional inputs into pricing strategies for proposals, renewals and mergersSupport with continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of financial processes.Forecasting & Budgeting Collaborate with relevant Product Domain stakeholders to construct and maintain a driver based 3-year strategic plan and rolling monthly forecast in accordance with timetable.Analyse inputs, particularly transaction drivers (or similar) working with the business to gain driver-based inputs and insights.Prepare qualitative insightful reporting on budget/forecast submissions, including potential opportunity and risks.   

About You 

This role is a very visible one within Cuscal where you will get the opportunity to partner with and present to key stakeholders.  A relevant university degree (and CA/CPA qualified) with proven commercial application and experience   More than 5 years experience within a management accounting or FP&A teamAdvanced analytical skills, including the ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect, and obtain solutions.Proven and effective business partnering abilitiesExperience in delivery of continuous improvement initiatives or financial process change initiatives.DesirableExperience within retail banking or payments
