Front of House Supervisor at SOUTHPORT KITCHEN + BAR

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team at SouthPort Kitchen + Bar, a fast paced, restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer as well as prior restaurant experience. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This position is 40 hours per week and a 5-day work week with Sunday and Monday off.

Duties:

Supervise front of house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Manage cash handling procedures

Assist in food running and expediting as needed to support service staff.

Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards are met.

Implement training and development programs to enhance team performance.

Monitor shift management to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.

Experience:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is required, with a preference for candidates with fine dining or casual dining experience.

Strong background in restaurant management, including knowledge of food handling, culinary practices, and hospitality management.

Experience with budgeting and financial oversight within a restaurant setting is advantageous.

Proven ability to lead teams effectively, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to staff development.
