Description We are looking for a skilled individual to fill the role of a Help Desk Analyst II in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role provides an opportunity for individuals with experience in IT support, particularly in the healthcare industry, to contribute to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, handling escalated helpdesk incidents, and participating in IT projects. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Respond to, and resolve escalated Tier 2 helpdesk incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Assist Tier 1 support staff with complex issues and escalations. Document incident resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base. Fulfill service requests such as user account management, software installations, and hardware deployments. Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Manage user access rights and permissions according to security policies. Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure service requests are completed efficiently. Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, network enhancements, and software implementations. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects. Ensure project tasks are completed on time and within scope. Document project activities and provide regular status updates. Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of IT systems and infrastructure. Ensure data backups are completed and verify their integrity. Monitor system performance and respond to alerts. Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service to all staff, ensuring a positive experience with IT support. Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to explain technical issues and solutions. Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
