Your new opportunity at Nine.

Based in the heart of North Sydney, The Australian Financial Review has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Home Page Editor to join the digital team.

We’re looking for a journalist with a strong sense of what works and what doesn’t online.

Day to day, you will be responsible for the following accountabilities:

  • Run the AFR home page as part of a team
  • Edit and publish stories, in particular, breaking news and first takes
  • Post on social channels
  • Curate and send newsletters, as required
  • Attend and contribute to news conferences
  • Work with reporters to optimise stories for digital distribution

Please note that night and weekend work will be required as part of this role.

  • Knowledge of business journalism and markets
