Job Description

Salary: up to $75k AUD + Superannuation

Ability to work from home 80-90% of the time

Informa is currently looking for a new colleague to take on theposition of HR Associate. Reporting to thePeople & Talent Manager, APAC, this role partners with a variety of stakeholders toeffectively manage all people matters including Modern Awards, HR Administration (including overtime calculations, contract generation)and process improvements.

This is an ideal role for someone that has a keen eye for detail, compliance and is enjoys implementing new processes/ policies and collaborating with others.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support and guidance to leaders to effectively manage employee relations and more directly Modern Awards
  • Supportworkplace investigations and the resolution of workplace grievances.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence of HR processes and systems.
  • Generating contracts for joiners, support changes and ensure compliance for leavers
  • Reviewing overtime policies and procedures

To be a part of the Australian team, we require:

  • At least 2years’ experience in Australia within an HRrole with demonstrated experience in employee relations/ Modern Awards
  • Solid understanding or keen desire to understandAustralian industrial relations and employment law frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, coupled with a pragmatic approach to ongoing issues.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and effectively partner, influence and workwith leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and or exposure to change management, project management would be advantageous.

Relevant degree in HR/ Diploma
