IT Technician Nights (3rd Shift)

Overview:

Responsible for supporting production activities as they pertain to I.T. and MES (manufacturing execution systems).  This support may be in the form of (but not limited to) training, line support, software testing, application setup and configuration, and database queries and updates.  Must have an advance working knowledge of Windows, Unix and relational databases, and network concepts.  Must be able to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and interact with members of the MES team (local, regional, and global), and with production.  

Core Responsibilities:

· Provide first-level support of MES systems 

· Test and implement software developed by internal and external sources

· Administer and configure MES applications, clients, and servers

· Work with Production to investigate issues and provide solutions as they apply to MES or Legacy systems· Interact and collaborate with other regional and global team members especially when escalating issues

· Be proactive and promote teamwork between the technicians and production operators 

· Interface; (support, assist, negotiate, consult) with: Engineers, peers, operators and management

· Set an example for all in work ethics: skill level, application of said skills, and communications

· Work with Oracle databases using SQLPlus and Hyperion, etc. · Able to trouble-shoot and accurately characterize systems problems with minimal assistance

· Flexibility, Commitment and ability to work with peers  Night Shift:

4 days working , 4 days off

9:30pm to 8:00am
