From concert halls and university buildings, masterplans, headquarters, and sustainable housing, you will be a part of an organization with a creative culture and history of delivering award-winning architecture.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Work with senior and intermediate team members to produce design studies and supporting renderings/diagrams through an evolving design processDevelop design & presentation documents in support of various project phasesWork with senior and intermediate team members to draft comprehensive drawing sets from concept through construction documentsDemonstrate an inquisitive and creative approach to solving design and technical problems, with the ability to translate them into professional documentsCommunicate with consultants as requiredEffectively self-manage time and workload to meet project and task deadlinesProvide research assistance for topics such as site context or material and systems selectionGeneral familiarity with code, space planning, and other local compliance requirementsOpen to learning new information while also sharing knowledge with less experienced staffWhat are we looking for?As our new Junior Designer/Project Team, we believe you starting point is:B.Arch or M.Arch degree from a NAAB accredited school or equal preferredMinimum 0 years of post-graduate professional experience including concept design through design development, or relevant internship experienceDemonstrably strong iterative design approachEnthusiastic and collaborative when engaging with team membersAgility and flexibility - must be a team player that can handle multiple tasksHave demonstrated proficiencies in Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, 2d drawings, 3d renderings, and physical model making. Additional consideration for proficiency with Grasshopper, Enscape, scripting & programming, Revit, or other programsExcellent verbal and communication skillsPractical understanding of materials and building systems in the US marketOrganized professional who is comfortable working in a growing officeMust be authorized to work in the US permanently without sponsorshipFluent in EnglishSalary Transparency StatementAt Henning Larsen, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $64,000 and $80,000  Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.How do you apply?Submit your application, portfolio (max 10 MB) and CV.
