This is a senior full-time position for an experienced and qualified CSCA Ethical Lead Auditor.The successful candidate must have prior experience auditing for a third-party Certification Agency across a number of programmes e.g. SMETA, BSCI, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 at a munimum.As a Lead Auditor for SGS Business Assurance NZ, you will be responsible for planning and performing supply chain and third-party certification audits.Key Responsibilities:Be able to effectively plan, conduct and lead audits across a wide range of industry sector codes.Lead assessment / audit teams, as required, ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that audit / assessment outcomes are achieved, and quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team.Undertake audit activity in accordance with SGS accreditation policies, procedures, and audit program requirements.Collate audit / assessment findings, prepare reports, and communicate findings to clients to ensure understanding of the requirements and area(s) that need to be addressed and/or corrective action required.Provide accurate and prompt information to the Delivery Support Team, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.Plan and schedule your audit / assessment workload to make best utilisation of your  time and maximise revenue-earning activity, performing the duties described above, to ensure that such duties are performed in an efficient and commercially expedient wayAssist in the training of other auditors and lead auditors during planned training or observation audits or during other training functions and actively in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.Maintain and continue to develop audit assessment skills, technical knowledge and participate in ensuring that any Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements are met.Collecting and analysing sufficient information to provide appropriate recommendations for certificationsMaking relevant decisions concerning the audit process, including informing SGS to resolve audit issues outside the processRespond to client enquiries on technical mattersReport customer complaints, problems and/or system deficienciesMaintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships.Preparing quality assurance reports, maintaining documentation and report findings.If required, undertake reviews of audit packs, and make certification decisions within target timescales and in line with SGS policies and accreditation/approval requirements.Conduct Technical File reviews specific for Product being authorized.Provide file review resource for SGS Conduct compliance reviewsAssist in promotional and business development activities.Complete specific projects related tasks/activities for services including  procedures, processes, systems and documentation as requestedAct as a brand Ambassador for SGS. This means acting ethically, with complete integrity and observing the Code of Ethics, policies and protocols.
