You will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and finished goods from suppliers, within manufacturing, and to customers. You will be accountable to obtain optimum productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and economy of operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel. Additionally, you will be directly responsible for shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory accuracy. The LocationWe are located at 51 Scarborough Lane, Milford, NH. This is an onsite position. Additional Job Details

Directs inbound and outbound domestic and international logistics operations, such as transportation, receiving, shipping, and warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.

Managing day-to-day warehouse operations to include receiving, shipping, processing and inventory control.

Capability to staff departments and shifts accordingly.

Manage inventory assets and improve inventory turns. Insure timely and accurate reporting of inventories.

Ability to evaluate indirect costs associated with customer requirements.

Ensures appropriate staffing, training, and evaluation of departmental personnel insuring skill levels to meet the needs of the business in the most efficient manner.

Coordinates closely with Alene Program Managers and customers to ensure delivery of product in compliance with contractual obligations and ensuring collection of contractually required documents as may be needed for collection of payments.

Develops metrics for establishing baseline Logistics Department performance and trends in cost and efficiency.

Develops relationships with transportation vendors in order to reduce cost and reaction time, improving transport times and costs.

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field.

10+ years of manufacturing related logistics experience.

Previous management experience required.

Experience in negotiating with vendors for services such as air freight, trucking, and freight forwarders for shipping.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Ability to problem solve.

Should be a quick learner and able to work under pressure; Manage multiple tasks, with the competence to plan and execute strategic plans.

Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, well-developed financial analysis capabilities and demonstrated ability to manage computer operations and applications.
