Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.In this hands-on, business critical role, you’ll be supporting the maintenance of our production machines, so that we can continue manufacturing our world class products and solutions for our valued customers.You’ll be based at our Emu Plains site and will be working to complete scheduled maintenance. Shift times are 7.30am to 4.00pm but you also may be needed to do some afternoon shift work, attend call outs and after hours/weekend and shutdown hours.What Will You Do?In a role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, you will be the first and main point of contact when it comes to equipment and maintenance.You will:provide maintenance of all mechanical plant equipment including rotating machinery and materials handling equipmentmaintaining formal maintenance, change management, down time, and quality records in accordance with company requirements and procedurescontinuous improvement of maintenance plans and systems by assisting in the improvement of maintenance schedulesinspecting quality critical equipment and fault findingworking with our operations team to ensure continuous improvement initiatives are identified and introduced wherever practicable.More About YouAs a career Maintenance Fitter, you’ll enjoy taking ownership for your work and contributing to the larger team.
