The role requires strong organizational, technical, and creative problem-solving skills. The Manager is responsible for providing the leadership and direction to effectively deliver workplace technology engineering projects and programs.REQUIREMENTS:8+ years of work experience working with large scale program / project management1+ years experience leading the team of project/program managersDetailed knowledge and proven experience with project management knowledge areas: integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholderStrong project management skills and ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholder groups to strategically shape projects; lead execution with strong executive presence.Experience performing portfolio audits assessing scope, schedule, and budget health, and engaging project managers to resolve conflicts.Manage project/portfolio financials, requests for funding prior to leadership review.Develop analytics and reporting to enable informed risk reduction.Manage escalations either within the team or to sponsors and executives when needing steerAssist in annual budget planning process by ensuring completion of proposals and budget informationAssist in developing and maintaining project management processes, templates, and training materials. Identify opportunities for standardizing project execution processes and artifacts. Ensure project managers adherence to PMO governance.Continuously improve resource management and capacity planning effortsCollaborate with teams to identify, log, track and resolve principles of professional project management such as Risk, Issue, Dependency, Decision and Change Management, Resource and Capacity Management and leverage these to improve control and visibility Analyze and provide regular status reports that are objective and reflect the true state of progressManage the complete lifecycle and facilitate the team to transition from phase to phaseLead the effective communication and dissemination of information between all working teamsFacilitate weekly project reviews, including ownership of scheduling, presentations, and capturing meeting notes and action itemsAbility to synthesize and simplify complex concepts/requirements to the team and stakeholders and tie back to business objectivesA true collaborator and team player who can encourage and promote one team across groups to meet common goals and add valueStrong sense of commitment, urgency, and sound business senseCareful listener with the confidence to make crisp and tough decisions about difficult issues; natural propensity to make others feel like their viewpoints and perspectives are adequately consideredAdaptable with history of leading effectively under pressure and through significant changeStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI, Smartsheets, Microsoft Teams
