This person will interface with the Leaders across the business to drive performance improvements, conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, lead time reduction, and production record systems.Primary Responsibilities:

Conducts investigation and performs Root Cause Corrective Action.

Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work

and routings.

Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of cnc manufacturing, hardware assembly, testing processes, liquid and vacuum brazing proceses.

Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

Conducts research to evaluate potential solutions related to changes in equipment design, procedures, manpower, personnel, or training to ensure the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow.

Establishes and implements quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.

May provide input or guidance to lower level professional and technical staff.

Reviews and provides analytical input to documents, such as proposals or other operational procedures, to support studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

Develops and maintains the layout of production floor space to establish maximum utilization of equipment.

Seasoned professional contributor.

May manage small projects or processes.

Has advanced knowledge of work area.

Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager.

Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.

Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Experience with CNC Machinery

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using Epicor,

Experience using LEAN/ 5s

Experience with Heat Treating/ Brazing
