With 600+ merchants representing 5,500+ brands and 3m+ SKUs TheMarket aims to become one of the biggest marketplaces in New Zealand.TheMarketingCampaign Coordinatorrole exists to help bring this goal to life.

Goals

Responsible for ensuring all content on the website is accurate and supports GMV and conversion targetsconsidering ourwide range of customer personason mobile, app, desktop or tablet.

Support the overarching end-to-end campaign management process for all relevant channels including; MTEs, sales, coupons, marketing channels, partner channels, competitions, activations etc.

Represent the brands and merchants we work with -creating and executing always on-brand and engagingcontentno matter the channel.

Not just a pretty face,TheMarketingCampaign Coordinatorlovesgetting geeky to track the entire multi-channel marketing funnel to continuously measure, improve and increase traffic, engagement and revenue.

KeyAreas of Responsibilities

  • Onsite &OffsiteMarketingContentCreation andExecution:

  • Support sales and promotional events by updating content and scheduling promotions

  • Review sales products / upcoming promos / maintain sale minimarket

  • Update featured brands & banners on category landing pages

  • Select products for EDMs or social campaigns

  • Merchandise products and createdeeplinksfor campaign landingplp

  • Draft Campaign briefs

  • Homepage planning and updates

  • Understand how each piece of content drives customers through the website and ensure the UX makessense

  • Curate product lists for campaigns (e.gGift ideas for secretsanta)

  • Contribute to wider team meetings to fuel ideas and understand wider website initiatives

  • Identify opportunities and seek new initiatives to maximise sales

  • Work closely withMarketing,GM & Planning and Experienceto create and execute content inline with the TradeCalendarfor the appropriatechannels.

  • Ensure content and audience targeting covers TheMarket’s wide range of merchants, categories and persona’s.

  • Ensure content look and feel is streamlinedwhilstmaximising the objective of the specific channel.

  • Use relevant briefing processes and tools (Asana).

  • Gain content sign-offs from relevant stakeholders when needed.

  • Help launch and develop always-on activity based on contractual commitments for strategic merchantsand other marketing partners.

  • Maintain brand framework for TheMarket tone of voice across all channels at all times.

  • Targets & Reporting:

  • Meet, analyse and report on Digital Marketing OKRs

  • Run and analyse weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and any other ad hocreports as needed.

  • 1-day & Group Marketplace:

  • Relevant tasks for additional websites as required.

  • Ongoing researchand self-development forbest practiceand personal growth

  • Adhoctasks and duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Customer empathy

  • Good understanding of commercial metrics to drive a retail/ecommerce business

  • Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders such as external agencies as well as internal teams.

  • Cool under pressure and ability to work with a sense of urgency

  • Understanding of multiple premium and everyday brands and how consumers shop accordingly – including understanding the importance of a ‘brand’

  • Strong analytical understanding of numbers and Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics & Excel skills

  • Proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Efficient and deadline savvy

  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation communication skills

  • Business, Commerce, Marketing degree or relevant tertiary qualification
