Job Description

We currently have a unique and exciting opportunity for a PMO Manager to join Global Express.

Establishing effective relationships with stakeholders, project delivery teams and third parties, you will ensure thedelivery and management of projects end to end from requirements through to benefits tracking, includingscheduling, planning, tracking of cost, time and quality

As the PMO Manager, you will:

  • Develop, manage, and own the project, program and enterprise portfolio reporting standards, processes and methods
  • Manage the continuous improvement of the Project Portfolio System’s reporting and analytic capabilities
  • Ensure effective, efficient and accurate recording and reporting of all project approvals and baseline project data, such as milestones, scope, expenditure, risks, issues and status.
  • Provide periodic analysis and performance reporting on divisional portfolio, major programs and projects for Senior Executives.
  • Manage and draw insights from portfolio and projects data, and to highlight these in a timely manner to Senior IT Executives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the development, implementation and management of IT program controls, processes and reporting.
  • Experience with PPM tools and PMO reporting templates
  • Understanding of business case development and benefits realisation
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 / PMBoK project management methodology or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Agile
  • Financial understanding including Capex / Opex knowledge, business case development and benefits realisation
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
