Job Description

We are looking fora Product Owner to manage one of our mission critical customer systems. Reporting to a Lead Product Owner, you willidentify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage regular product releases.

What you'll do as a Product Owner:

  • Work closely with engineering teams, other Product Owners, business stakeholders and the broader Delivery Team to determine priority and business objectives
  • Gatherfeature requests, schedulereleases and coordinatesprints
  • Develop user storieswith acceptance criteria, refining them for development teamsto solution, estimate and develop from them for two team backlogs.
  • Articulate business needs and translate to a technical audience
  • Participate in regular release planning, release management and solution validation
  • Manage project roadmaps and deliver to timeframes
  • Act as the internal customer advocate, ensuringthe product is aligned with customers and the market

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previousexperience working in a similar role, with Scrum Product Owner certification
  • Hands-on experiencemanaging the digital product life cycle
  • Knowledge of software development and web technologies
  • Experience in iteration and sprint planning, developing user journeys and flows, problem statements and outcomes, story mapping, user stories and building world class confluence pages
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases
  • Ability toidentify user needs and work and manoeuvre through ambiguity
  • Previous experience in the wholesale Telco industry is nice to have but not essential
