Eaton Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Program Manager to support our Brightlayer Industrial segment offering. This position is a hybrid work model and can be based out of any Eaton U.S. location.This strategic leadership role focuses on full scale, segment level program management. Reporting into the Vice President of Digital Service Operations, the Program Manager will play a key role in driving innovation programs, developing business cases and growing the Brightlayer Industrial segment. A key priority of this role is Brightly Industrial segment commercialization efforts, partnering closely with Product Managers, Segment Leaders and Software R&D to effectively align and execute on strategy.Brightlayer Industrial is a portfolio of software applications for electrical infrastructure management that aggregates data, monitors infrastructure, drives operational value and performance, predict maintenance required, and maintain safety and security. For more information check out: https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/digital/brightlayer/brightlayer-industrial-suite.htmlPosition Overview:Essential functions: Initiate, lead, and support global technology programs utilizing Eaton's internal program management framework, including technology reviews, program and commercialization reviews. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural, globally distributed software and product development teams. Lead the execution of innovative data science and analytics-based programs applying breakthrough technologies for electrical and industrial applications. Contribute to the segment commercialization playbook with a focus on full commercialization product launches and ongoing business opportunity benefits oversight during the product development process. Establish objectives and direct team members in the areas of project execution, market requirements management, scope, and risk assessment. Manage and lead the regular communication of program status, issues, and accomplishments with Eaton executive leadershipincluding the CTO and COO Responsible for the successful execution of software development programs within their scope, schedule, cost and quality commitments Lead program proposal efforts in determining work breakdown structure, level of effort, resource planning and cost Communicate and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business. Manage and execute procurement processes for subcontractors, project materials and organization capital 10% travel anticipatedQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in managing projects and programs with multiple stakeholders and high degree of complexity, including systems program management for revenue generating systems Professional experience working in global, matrixed environment No relocation is offered for this position.
