Project Manager - Technical Performance Group

In addition, employees are also entitled to participate in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.  Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement. Position Purpose: To bring project management methods, tools and skillsets to coordinate internal initiatives that are strategic to our business and its key assets. This role offers a growth path toward leading our Project Management Office (PMO) and managing a team of project managers.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Project Management & Execution:Lead multiple concurrent projects from inception to completion.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resourcing and budgets.Coordinate cross-functional teams and diverse skillsets.Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and team members.Monitor and report project KPIs, milestones, and deliverables.Implement and maintain project management tools and processes.Team Development & Leadership:Help establish the PMO function, approach and roadmap within the organization.Recruit, lead and grow a team of project managers.Build project management capabilities across the organization and foster a culture of excellence.Additional Information:Work environments include office locations, operating project sites, and construction sites.Depending on the project needs, travel (10%) is often required on an intermittent basis and may sometimes require an extended trip.
