Equally key in the role is uplifting the capability of our junior Developers. We run a successful graduate program and pride ourselves on this continued mana-enhancing environment within the team.As a Senior Developer you will be responsible for building quality solutions while mentoring and guiding the team to help develop mature practices. This will be highly dependent on your skills and experience.Mō tō māou rōpū | About the teamWe are the Digital Development Kaitiaki. A group to 30 developers with the development stewardship of one of New Zealand’s largest IT estates. Our team members are integrated into Agile teams that are responsible for a specific value stream for the University.  He kōrero mōu | About youOur team functions in a flat structure, where you will work alongside management, so you’ll need to be proactive and take on your mahi as you see fit for the best results. You will need to have demonstrated work experience in a development role with familiarity with most aspects of the software development lifecycle.Essential to the tole is your experience with mentoring and guiding junior developers. You’ll be a self-starter and keen to promote and adapt change as we are modernising the current state of how we work and operate.
