Senior Software Developer

This is a senior hands-on development role with responsibility for mentoring, technical guidance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Octane's engineering practices.You'll work across our ERP platform, integrations, APIs, mobile applications, and modern web solutions while helping strengthen engineering standards, implementation quality, and technical delivery.You will:Design and develop high-quality software solutions.Lead detailed technical design and implementation decisions, working with the Solution Architect on significant architectural decisions.Mentor developers through technical guidance, code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.Contribute to backlog refinement by helping decompose approved Features into clear, estimable, development-ready PBIs.Identify technical dependencies, delivery risks, and opportunities to improve maintainability.Support sprint planning and help the team establish realistic technical delivery commitments.Promote practical engineering standards, secure development practices, and maintainable solutions.Provide technical input into product and technology decisions.Help shape how AI-assisted development is adopted across the business.
