Job Description
Oaks Hotels & Resorts are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to assist with the kitchen operations at Oaks Cypress Lakes on a full-time basis.
This role will involve:- Working alongside and supervising kitchen team members ensuring excellence and consistency in the product delivered to customers.
- Development of new menus and associated costing.
- Running stock control and managing all BOH food and wage costs.
- Enforcing daily and weekly systems and procedures to ensure a high level of presentation, hygiene, service, and product quality.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and food standards.
- Recruiting, inducting, training and rostering of BOH team member
Qualifications
You will have:- Be in a similar hands-on senior chef position or a second in charge ready to take their career to the next level.
- Have gained a Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level III or higher.
- Possess a Food Safe Handler Supervisor Certificate.
- Be flexible to work a range of different shifts.
- Be able to work under pressure and within a team environment.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have a positive and energetic attitude and a passion for consistently presenting excellent meals.
