Te Whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityThis role is part of Contact’s legal team, which sits within the Corporate Affairs business unit.As Senior Legal Counsel you will provide strategically focused-legal services to all business units across Contact and advice on a wide range of legal issues. You will provide pragmatic legal advice, and be a trusted advisor, to help enable the business to achieve its goals.We’re looking for a Specialist – Senior Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Affairs team. You’ll play a key part in providing pragmatic, effective legal advice across all areas of our business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with a variety of people, support projects, and help shape the way we do things. What you’ll do: Provide clear, practical legal advice to all Contact business units Negotiate, draft, and review contracts Support dispute resolution and business-as-usual activities Be an active member of project teams, offering legal insight and solutions Maintain and improve our standard contract templates and legal processes Help ensure our governance and compliance activities are robust and effective Deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders, making sure outputs are meaningful and support decision-making
