Our Londonderry, New Hampshire location is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer. This position, reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, is responsible to evaluate and establish new supplier partners to ensure their capabilities and systems align with L3Harris requirements. The SQE will work with suppliers of all commodities to create a best in class, high performing, and optimal supply base and will be teamed with cross-functional groups to enhance the quality of the supply base. Essential Functions: The SQE will be an active and significant contributor in the evaluation, development and monitoring of key Suppliers and Subcontractors, create Quality requirements, participate in the generation and review of requirements, and validate flow down of expectations. The SQE will communicate and ensure our Suppliers and Subcontractors understand stated requirements, have the capability to consistently and predictively meet, and provide conforming products and services. Will manage Supplier and Subcontractor performance and validate the implementation of effective procedures, test methods, and process controls, geared toward risk mitigation. Proactively monitor, analyze, report on, and participate in the improvement of Supplier and Subcontractor process and product performance. Lead failure analysis, complex problem solving and corrective action efforts, and drive the development of technical solutions. Participate and/or lead improvement efforts and as a member of cross-functional teams. While acting as a conduit between the external source and internal resources. Lead the verification, validation and acceptance of proposed product design and Supplier and Subcontractor process changes. As needed, participate in the review and disposition of nonconforming product while representing the organization as a prime technical resource. SQE will perform Supplier and Subcontractor audits and follow-up assessments as needed. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2-years of prior relevant experience or Graduate degree in Engineering, Business or Technical discipline and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

1-2 years of experience working with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of production / manufacturing improvement processes i.e. PPAP, APQP

Intermediate SPC/Data analysis skills and proven ability to perform DOE, FMEA, ANOVA and Gage R&R analysis a strong plus.

Experience in an Automotive Lean Manufacturing setting is desired, as is ASQ Certification

Experience with MRP or ERP systems is preferred.

Must be a self-starter and able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and assignments.

Experience with supplier development, supplier audits, and continuous improvement.

Previously worked in a high volume electro-mechanical manufacturing organization with preference to Government /Military products.

In depth knowledge of various commodities including but not limited to; machined, casted and molded components, PCB and electronic assemblies, optical components and assemblies.

Technical capabilities including understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerances and model drawings.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

Approximately 35% travel maybe required
