Role Purpose:Seeking a motivated and skilled procurement professional to lead the negotiation of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud and other cutting-edge technology agreements as a key member of the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Procurement team. This role is integral to shaping our organization's approach to technology sourcing and offers the chance to drive impactful negotiations and develop as a thought leader in AI and innovative technology procurement.The position involves developing and executing procurement strategies, leading complex agreement negotiations, vendor management, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. In addition to driving NBCUniversal initiatives, this individual will collaborate with Comcast and Sky Procurement Teams, as well as business stakeholders, to drive large-scale, high-value impactful global enterprise deals and agreements in a fast-paced environment.This is not a purely transactional role - successful candidates will develop negotiation strategies, mitigate risks, and optimize contracts to maximize long-term value for the organization.The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of negotiating high-impact technology deals, a good understanding of AI and cloud contracts, and the ability to navigate complex vendor relationships.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end negotiation process for high-value agreements, including cloud services, AI technologies, software licensing, content delivery networks (CDN), professional services, SaaS, and technology development.Draft, review, and redline complex technology agreements, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.Demonstrate subject matter expertise in AI-related contract provisions and AI-enabled products and services, providing strategic guidance on evolving regulatory and commercial risks.Lead RFP processes, including pre-bid and post-bid activities, ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives.Analyze proposals, vendor capabilities, and conduct due diligence, including background checks.Provide data-driven insights and market intelligence to inform decision-making.Collaborate with legal, finance, information security, and governance teams to ensure timely project execution.Build and manage executive-level vendor relationships to maximize value and drive continuous improvements.Manage and optimize procurement processes, ensuring accurate contract and spend data in procurement databases.Identify cost reduction opportunities, leverage competitive intelligence and develop strategic sourcing initiatives.
