Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThe Faculty of Business and Economics is seeking a Student and Programme Adviser to join the Graduate School of Management Professional Programmes team on an 18-month fixed term basis.Supporting a portfolio of professional postgraduate programmes, this role combines student support and programme advice to help ensure students have a positive and successful experience throughout their studies.Working closely with students, academic staff, and professional colleagues, you will provide advice on programme and course options, support student progression, and help students navigate key stages of their academic journey. You will also play an important role in monitoring student engagement and academic progress, identifying students who may require additional support, and connecting them with the appropriate services and resources.Key responsibilities include:Providing programme and course advice to current and prospective students.Supporting student progression, enrolment, and programme administration activities.Monitoring student engagement and academic progress and coordinating support for students who may be at risk.Working closely with academic and professional staff to support student success and programme delivery.Building strong relationships with students and acting as a key point of contact throughout their studies.Supporting programme communications, events, and promotional activities.This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), 18-month fixed term position.
