OverviewProvides management of CF staff, production and systems as well as assistance and support to Corporate Finance (CF) leadership. Resolves issues related to accounting and report processes, reviews updates and maintains process documentation and serves as primary respondent to constituent inquiries.Responsibilities

Directly supervises and manages assigned staff. Oversees timely and accurate completion of assigned staffs work. Ensures adherence to standards, procedures and protocols. Assists in providing day-to-day management.

Standardizes procedures and implements policy and procedure changes.

Participates in interviews and selection of new staff, organizes training in operational procedures for new employees, evaluate assigned staff’s performance. Coaches and counsels performance problems.

Coordinates and directs special quality improvement pilots and projects in which the staff is involved.

Develops, maintains and revises procedures and systems to ensure efficient, effective operations.

Analyzes work flow to assure maximum staff utilization.

Leads computer system projects and maintenance for the department, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system conversions, new modules and upgrades. In addition, leads testing phase(s) of system wide implementations, upgrades and conversions.

Assists with monthly and annual close processes.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting field or equivalent.

Minimum of four (4) years of related experience.

Experience with Microsoft Office software required.

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems used in medium or large organizations preferred.

Excellent general accounting and account reconciliation skills with GAAP knowledge.

Must have an in depth knowledge and understanding of internal controls.

Must be able to work under pressure, meet daily deadlines, and work in a team setting.

Mathematical aptitude desired.
