Description Job Description:The Application Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the functionality of supported applications, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer support. This role involves a blend of application implementation, configuration, documentation, and training responsibilities. The Analyst will serve as the first line of support for issues related to these applications, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any challenges that arise.Key Responsibilities:

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of supported applications and their functionalities.

Serve as the primary resource for customer support issues, providing effective troubleshooting and resolution.

Implement and configure applications to meet organizational needs.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications and processes.

Conduct training sessions for end-users to facilitate effective use of applications.

Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance and address any system issues.

Manage support tickets and provide timely updates on the status and resolution of issues.

Participate in project work related to system upgrades and new functionalities, including off-hours work as needed.

Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to support and enhance application performance.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role Proficient in Agile Scrum and Six Sigma methodologies Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and eClinicalWorks Strong knowledge and experience in application administration, configuration, deployments, installations, management, maintenance, performance, software, support, and upgrades Demonstrated experience in clinical data management, clinical information systems, and clinical support Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to provide technical support Excellent customer support skills Technical support experience is a must Ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of experience in Information Technology, preferably in a healthcare environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing applications.

Basic knowledge of database management systems and familiarity with medical terminology.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Experience with EMRs, particularly Paragon and eClinicalWorks, is highly desirable.

Interface analyst experience is a plus.

Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is beneficial.

Experience supporting finance, lab, and radiology systems is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, for system upgrades and emergency support.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.

Strong cultural fit with the team, demonstrating effective collaboration with IT and clinical staff.
