TW DC Trade & Customs Specialist

Ensures smooth execution of trade activities by managing customs documentation, tracking shipments through customs clearance, and resolving operational issues. Manage compliance with trade regulations, conduct audits, and provide training to local teams.RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Planning & Cost ManagementReview and approve transport and trade invoices.Specialised Operations & AdministrationProvide training to local teams on changes in trade regulations.Oversee processing and day-to-day execution of customs filings and related documentation, including customs declarations, bill of ladings and invoices for all international movements of goods, including commercial and NCG.Monitor inbound shipping schedules to ensure timely customs clearance activities and coordinate ETAs with receiving warehouse team where required.Resolve operational issues with customs clearance activities including delays, discrepancies and escalations.Coordination & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate with customs brokers, transport providers, and other service partners, ensuring the fulfilment of operational responsibilities.Support the Trade & Customs Manager and Team Lead with routine operational tasks.Performance Analysis & Decision SupportReport on compliance performance and recommend process improvements.Compliance, Risk & GovernanceMonitor and enforce compliance with local and international trade regulations.Conduct reviews and internal audits of submitted customs declarations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and identify savings opportunities.Manage and retain customs documentation to support audit trail for future internal and external customs audits.Prepare documents in response to local customs authority requests for audit, or for H&M internal trade compliance audit.
