Demonstrates and maintains knowledge/leadership in HR processes (including but not limited to, Compensation, Total Rewards, Recruiting, Performance, Learning, etc.) to conform to evolving business practicesLead HR process reengineering projects, analyzes new opportunities to proactively leverage HCM technology across the organization in an effort to improve business processesCommunicates complex specifications cross functionally with technical and non-technical resources to implement new HCM solutions that meet business requirementsRecommends, designs, develops, and implements business processes involving 3rd party technologies that may or may not interact with SAP in order to effectively meet business objectivesServes in the capacity of Functional Project Manager, and supports development and maintenance of project scope/objectives through requirements gathering, goal prioritization, planning, scheduling, identification of risks, and contingency plansActs independently and in a team environment to apply strong research skillsLead and mentor a high performing team of 12 employees from Analyst to Director levelCoach staff on performance and professional development issues. Manages individual workload and delivers against agreed upon project milestonesActs as a liaison between the Technology Department and the Business, specifically HR, Talent and Reward TeamsFacilitating communications between the various stakeholders and collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to provide technical advice and solutionsConducting interviews and performing analysis in order to create Business Cases and/or Business Process models for projectsEmploying tools in Business Process Management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the groupParticipates in root cause analysis in order to recommend product and/or process enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business units and TechnologyCreate project plans, including deliverables, activities and timelinesDirect day-to-day activities of projects and staff in matrixed organizationManage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure from an HR perspective.Ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project and coordination of resourcesAssess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issuesPrepare for system updates, rolling out new features and functionality to optimize performance and usability.Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes.Plan for needed resources and fundingManage vendor relationshipsWork with Leadership to further develop a strategy to optimize HRIS systems to meet requirements and help drive efficiencies.
