Video Producer

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are looking for a Video Producer with a strong visual style and relevant experience working in a University environment while producing and filming video projects for Media Productions.You will take ownership of directing, producing and self-shooting work on location as required. This can vary between overseeing a small team or as a single operator.Responsibilities include:Direct studio filming as requiredEditing and post-production of projects as requiredPre produce videos, write creative briefs, storyboard and scriptsFor more detailed information, please refer to the Position Description.Please note this is a fulltime (37.5 hours/week), permanent opportunity, with a salary range of $66,600-$80,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important SkillsRelevant Industry Qualification or Tertiary degree in Film and Media Studies, Fine Arts or similar.Demonstrable specific technical knowledge and working experience of the following cameras; Sony FS7, Sony A7s, Sony PMW-400Minimum 5 years of experience with video cameras, video editing, production concepts.Demonstrable experience in producing teaching and learning video course material for tertiary studentsExperience with filming and live-streaming lecturesStrong demonstrable visual flair and affinity with storytelling.Mō tō mātou rōpū | About the teamMedia Productions is a bunch of passionate video makers and photographers who produce digital content for the University and beyond.
