Accountant - Entry Level

Description Southern New Jersey company is in need of an accountant. Will be assisting in auditing files and processing reconciliations. If you have a passion for accounting, you are encouraged to apply to the unique opportunity for an Entry-level Accountant via Robert Half. You will be responsible for entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. You will report to the Accounting Manager and be part of a dynamic team with an opportunity for career growth.

Prepare budget forecasts

Analyze and reconcile accounts

Prepare monthly, weekly, and yearly financial reports

Prepare journal entries, reconcile, and balance general ledger accounts

Prepares monthly balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Requirements

2+ years of accounting experience

Bachelor’s degree: Accounting, Finance or Economics

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables

Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
