Accounting Specialist

Description A busy company in the Denville area is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. This Accounting Specialist will get the chance to join a growing company working directly under the accounting manager. The ideal Accounting Specialist will have proficiency in QuickBooks and be local to the Denville area. Other responsibilities of this Accounting Specialist will include but not be limited to: Responsibilities:

Creating/managing purchase invoices

Preparing reports that show daily balances/KPIs

Assisting with daily accounts payable duties

Will handle 3 Way invoice matching

Resolving discrepancies on accounts receivable items

Processing weekly check runs

Reconciling bank statements

Maintaining general ledger accounts

Assisting with ad hoc project

This Accounting Specialist position pays between $55,000 and $60,000 annually depending on experience. If interested in this Accounting Specialist role apply today! Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field a plus

0-2 years of accounting experience preferred

Must possess strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Experience in preparing and performing check runs

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
